Remembrance Day
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John (15:12-13)
These powerful words remind us of the ultimate sacrifice made by so many brave individuals. Next week, we take a moment to honour those who gave their lives not just for loved ones and friends, but for strangers, for their country, and for a better future.
Their selflessness and courage are the foundations upon which our freedoms and values stand. As a Catholic school community, we are called to remember and reflect on these sacrifices, and to instil in our students the virtues of love, service, and gratitude.
In our daily lives, it is easy to take for granted the peace and opportunities we enjoy. However, it is important to teach our children to appreciate these blessings and to understand the profound impact of those who came before us.
By remembering their sacrifices, we can inspire our students to live out the values of compassion, empathy, and dedication to the common good.
At Guardian Angels, we strive to LIVE the GA Way by embodying these values every day. This means showing kindness, being respectful, and working together to make our community a better place. Let’s encourage our students to inspire others and value relationships to honour the legacy of those who have given so much.
May we all strive to live out the love and selflessness exemplified by these heroes in our daily lives. Together, let us continue to foster a school environment that honours their legacy and encourages our students to be thoughtful, caring, and active members of the community.

Dear Parents and care givers,
On Thursday 21 November from 8:30am – 9:15am we welcome parents and care givers into our classrooms to showcase the wonderful work that has been taking place this term. This is a great opportunity for parents to come into our learning spaces and connect with the children’s learning.
