Scholastic Book Fair

This year our Book Fair will open in the Library from Wednesday, 4th June – Friday 13th June
During class, the children will have an opportunity to visit the library and view the books on sale. They will complete a wish-list to bring home. If you would like to purchase any books from your child’s wish-list or visit the Book Fair yourself, it will be open before school (8am) and after school (until 4pm).
Students from Years 2 – 6 can also purchase during lunchtime.
We are looking forward to this exciting event that engages children and promotes literacy.
Purchasing Online
Scholastic Book Fair Parent Pre-Payment
Buying from a Scholastic Book Fair not only grows your home library but provides resources for your school. Every dollar spent at the Book Fair gives back to your library and school.
Thank you for selecting to purchase from your school's Scholastic Book Fair.
The online Book Fair Payment portal allows you to pre-pay for titles from the Book Fair you selected with your child. A receipt number will display so you can complete the Payment Form (No Form? Download here).
The Payment Form must be presented to the school during the Book Fair for your child to collect the books from the Book Fair.
Three easy steps to make a pre-payment:
- Find your school's Book Fair by selecting your state and then entering the school's name or suburb (can't find your school? call: 1800 024 840)
- Enter your details and the total value of the books you wish to pre-pay for.
- Pre-payment Form to be completed (below), including the receipt number and amount paid. This form MUST be returned to the school during the Book Fair.

Did you know…..
Student academic reports, absences, appointments, media permissions and much more can all be found on the BCE Connect App.
How to log an absence, late arrival, or appointment
If you're having trouble accessing the BCE Connect App or Parent Portal:
- Contact the office: If you're unable to log in or have any access issues, don't hesitate to reach out to the school office for support. It is essential the parents can always access this resource and save their own copy of the student academic reports securely.
- Check your email: The email address linked to your account held at school is what grants you access. If you've recently changed your email address, make sure the school has the updated one on file. You can contact the office to update it if necessary.
Volunteering at Guardian Angels
Volunteers are very welcome at Guardian Angels’ and play an important role in enriching students’ experiences.
When parents and community members can get involved in activities like reading, excursions, P&F and events, it fosters a sense of connection and support.
Before commencing as a volunteer, you are required to complete online volunteer training at the start of each calendar year. This takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. This training ensures that all our adults who come into contact with our students will be fully informed of their roles and responsibilities when working with students.
Please follow the steps below:
- Click this link to complete online Student Protection Training Start training here
- Complete the ‘Volunteer Registration and Declaration Form’ (this can be accessed at the end of the online training)
- Print and complete the ‘Volunteer Registration and Declaration Form’ and email to pwynnum@bne.catholic.edu.au
- You will receive acknowledgement of your completed training and volunteer number for 2025.
