Containers for Change
Remember that this year our stewardship committee has started a containers for change initiative. The proceeds will be spent improving our school environment. This will initially include our vegetable patches in Chestnut Street playground. If you are interested in helping us by saving your bottles and distributing them at containers for change then please choose us as your charity. Please use the QR code below.
Thank you.

Drop off and pick up zone volunteers

Thank you to those parents who have already so generously volunteered their time in the pick up zones. We truly appreciate your help.
We would love parent helpers in pick up zones this year. Pick up zones operate from 8:00am – 8:25am in the morning and from 2:55pm – 3:20pm in the afternoons. It's an easy 25 mins, opening car doors, helping little people in and out of cars.
If you can spare 20-30 minutes once or twice a week please email Jenny Druce at jdruce@bne.catholic.edu.au with your preferred day, time and campus.
A friendly reminder, before commencing your role as a volunteer or other personnel at our school, you are required to complete the online volunteer training. This training needs to be renewed annually and can be found here: https://www.bne.catholic.edu.au/students-parents/student-protection/Pages/Student-Protection-and-Code-of-Conduct-Training-for-Volunteers-and-Other-Personnel.aspx
You will need to download, print and complete your registration form, which is contained within your online training. Return it to the School Office prior to commencing your role.

Second-hand Uniform Shop
The second hand uniform shop is open on the first Monday of the month with the next open day on Monday 7 August. The shop will open between 7:45am and 8:20am on the GA campus.
Each item is $5. Cash only sales.
Need items outside of shop open times? Please email pwynnum@bne.catholic.edu.au with what you need and one of our amazing parent volunteers will fill this order for you.

Parent Session Tonight for the Sacrament of Confirmation (Year 3 and above)
Parents who would like their children to commence the 3-year Sacramental Preparation Program of the Parish are invited to come along to the Parent Session at 7:00pm tonight (Thursday, 8 June) in the Parish Hall.
To be eligible for the Sacramental Preparation Program, the children need to already be baptised and now be in Year 3 (8 years of age) or above. This is the beginning of your child’s 3-year Sacramental Journey. If you would like to enrol your child, please make sure at least one parent attends the Parent Session as it is an essential part of the enrolment process. The evening is for parents, not the children. Some refreshments will be available before the session begins, so feel free to come early. Contact the parish office if you have any questions, or bring those questions along to tonight’s session. Looking forward to seeing you then.
5:00pm Mass this Sunday – Children’s Liturgy
The 5:00pm Mass this Sunday will host the Children’s Liturgy – which is for children aged between Prep-Year 3. All families welcome. Children in the Sacramental Program will also be making their First Holy Communion at the parish masses across the weekend.

At Guardian Angels' we place particular importance in acknowledging the various gifts and talents each community member is blessed with, as we strive to unite under the theme, ‘We Are One’.
